For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)
Living life for kingdom values, and investing our time, talent, and treasure for the kingdom are principles we practice in KingdomNomics. It took me a long time to figure out that the kingdom of God does not consist of the abundance of things. We only truly experience life when we are filled with the Holy Spirit!
It is the Holy Spirit who searches all things and reveals the deep things of God. It is through Son Power we discover the secrets of the kingdom. It is the Holy Spirit who fills us with righteousness, peace, and joy! Therefore, one of main objectives we must have is to sow to the Spirit so we can experience eternal life both now and forever. Paul wrote, “Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit” (Galatians 6:8, NLT).
As we ask God to direct our hearts into the love of God, and into the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we experience communion with the Holy Spirit. Our lives overflow with God’s righteousness, peace, and joy. We are God’s messengers, sharing his hope with the world! Son Power helps us as we navigate our way through life and empowers us to be a blessing to all those around us.
Today, ask yourself:
In what ways is Son Power flowing through me so that I am sharing God’s righteousness, peace, and joy with those around me?
