Scripture: Isaiah 43:26, NKJV
“Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted.” (Isaiah 43:26, NKJV)
Life is difficult. We live in a broken world. For Son Power to work in my life, I must remember God.
- Who has the power to change me?
- Who has the power to change circumstances?
- Who has power over all things?
- Who has the solutions to all my problems?
Scripture makes it clear that all good is sourced in almighty God. He ultimately has the solutions to our problems. Therefore, it makes sense to remember God constantly.
I refer to this truth as the GOD FACTOR. The world has turned its back on God, but the believer brings life in harmony to the revealed will of God through Son Power.
Think about it. God has delivered us from the power of sin. Prayer, plus the supply of the Spirit, results in deliverance. We have been sealed by the Holy Spirit, who guarantees our future deliverance or salvation.
Life is sourced in God. By his Spirit we can put to death the sinful desires that lurk within us before they give birth to sinful acts. Bringing God into remembrance means that God becomes the focus of our attention, rather than the circumstance or the problem we face.
Talk to God
Yes, Lord, I choose to put you in remembrance daily. You are the source of my life, and I choose to bring my life into harmony with your revealed will to me. I ask you to take control of how I think, feel, and act. In Jesus name, Amen.
