Scripture: Job 5:8–9, NKJV
“But as for me, I would seek God, and to God I would commit my cause — who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number.” (Job 5:8–9, NKJV)
We live in a world where most people seek things, stuff, experiences, pleasures, power, money, and status, thinking they will satisfy the inner longings of their soul.
We are seeking the wrong things! Only God, the source of all life, can fill our heart with the contentment and peace we need to live a balanced life. In KingdomNomics, the first order of business is to seek the face of God. The Bible tells us, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:5, NKJV)
The wise person puts this verse into practice. The reason is explained in Scripture:
God is the one who makes things happen. In fact, he can do way more than we can ask, think or imagine. His works are awesome, marvelous, and without number!
We can live a life of triumph “by the work of his hands.” His works make us glad! As we become aware of the finger of God at work in our lives, our heart swells with joy, causing us to be radiant.
Talk to God
