Focus on Christ, Not on the Problem

Focus on Christ, Not the Problem | KingdomNomics.comMemorize and Meditate

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.” (Micah 7:8, NIV)

Soak your Heart

We must train our minds to focus on the Lord when we are dealing with problems. If we focus on our problems, we will sink in the ocean of trouble, just as Peter did when he took his eyes off the Lord.

God’s Favor is Life!

God’s Favor is Life! | KingdomNomics.comMemorize and Meditate

For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.” (Proverbs 8:35, NKJV)

We spend time with the people we love, and we spend time doing the things we love. Such endeavors frequently require patience. This is certainly the case in our relationship with God. The process of getting to know him takes time and patience.

A lot of things cry for our attention. However, most of these distractions are temporal; they are in the process of perishing. KingdomNomics thinkers focus on the eternal:

“…We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18, NKJV)

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.” (NIV)

Imagine it! The Lord actually confides in those who fear him. Not only that, but he also shows them his covenant. This means he shows them his favor.

What are we willing to do to experience the favor of God?
