Fix Your Eyes on Christ, Not on the Problem

Scripture: Hebrews 12:2, NIV

“…Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2, NIV)

Purging Trust in Self | KingdomNomics.comMemorize and Meditate

In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. Soak your Heart

Scripture counsels us not to be controlled by these “fleshly” factors:

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.” (Psalm 37:5–8, NIV)

Then he said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.’” (Daniel 10:12, NLT)

Soak your Heart

If we would take time to follow the example of Daniel, we would place ourselves in a position where God can and will answer our prayers. This is truly a secret of the kingdom.
